We carried out lock and door repairs to the security doors at the Lindfield polling station, because the locks on them weren't suitable for Parliament New South Wales security settings.
The polling station was in a commercial building within the Lindfield shopping district, and the job was done before the last election. It's a hot site, which is why the locks had to meet those settings before the doors went into use. The work took six hours over two days.
Security doors in commercial buildings get opened and closed all day, so locks and door hardware wear and fall out of adjustment well before anything looks wrong from outside.
